Hi,
Bug report: I'm running Running windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
I've just installed Evernus v1.22 64-bit (my machine never had any previous copies of it) and select the default installation patch.
Upon completion I've launched the program, added a new API key which I've created specifically for it (following the pre-defined API guidelines), clicked 'Import All' and the program crashed with the following dump: Problem signature: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:evernus.exe Application Version:0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp:54931f24 Fault Module Name:Qt5XmlPatterns.dll Fault Module Version:5.4.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp:5481ef2e Exception Code:c00000fd Exception Offset:00000000001be6e7 OS Version:6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID:1037 Additional Information 1:7acc Additional Information 2:7acc29ea3a1f256c2488075d70a00a1f Additional Information 3:db23 Additional Information 4:db23b921e9e19be85611d7f69c2add66

That's very odd. That error was fixed in Qt some time ago. Can you share the dump file?
Where can I find it in Windows 8.1?
Also, when I relaunched the program and performed another 'Import All' call, it worked fine. |

Enabling user-mode crash dump logging in Windows 8.1 seem to be quite the hassle: http://superuser.com/questions/553140/where-does-windows-8-store-user-mode-crash-minidumps
I've created such a key now. Will report back with the dumps if more crashes occur.
Those are considered to be user-mode crashes, right? |

Hello Pete Butcher.
I installed Evernus v1.24 and I like it, a lot!
However, as noted here by CCP's FoxFour, I find the CREST Login pop-up a bit disconcerting since there's no address bar and so no easy way for me to verify its authenticity.
Also, weather Evernus is open source or not doesn't mean much to me since I'm not well versed in coding languages and have no idea what to look for to confirm the CREST Login pop-up's validity.
Please consider accommodating a solution that will instill more trust with the end-user during the CREST Login process.
Regards, |
